SeedSigner is for Bitcoiners who don't trust anyone, not even hardware wallet companies. You buy commodity parts from multiple vendors, assemble them yourself, and flash open-source firmware. The device is stateless. It generates your keys from seed each time, then forgets everything when powered off. Nothing to extract, nothing to hack.
SeedSigner was built by Bitcoiners for Bitcoiners. The community rejected altcoin support from day one. Why would you complicate a signing device with code for tokens that don't matter? Every line of firmware exists to secure Bitcoin. Nothing else.

Bottom Line
SeedSigner is the most trustworthy option if you're technical enough to build it. You control every component in the supply chain. The stateless design means there's literally nothing stored on the device between sessions. But it's not for everyone. Assembly requires comfort with electronics. There's no warranty or support. If you can handle that, SeedSigner is hard to beat at ~$50 in parts.
