SecuX V20 Review

SecuX V20

SecuX built a device with a big touchscreen. That's about where the good news ends. Closed-source firmware, multi-coin bloat, no air-gap capability. It's a generic hardware wallet in a market where Bitcoin-only, open-source alternatives exist at every price point.

Multi-Coin Warning

Multi-coin support is a liability. Each additional token adds signing logic, address generation, and transaction handling code. That's extra surface area for bugs, and none of it helps secure your bitcoin.

My Final Take

Look, the SecuX V20 isn't a bad device from a pure hardware perspective.

It has touchscreen and bluetooth. Some people will like that.

Not Recommended

I can't recommend this for serious bitcoin storage. The multi-coin firmware introduces unnecessary risk. For $139 or less, you can get a focused Bitcoin-only wallet that does the job better.

Bitcoin-only, dummy.

I'm not going to help you buy a multi-coin wallet. Check out my Bitcoin-only recommendations instead.
