D'CENT Biometric Review
Biometric hardware wallet

D'CENT puts a fingerprint sensor on a hardware wallet. Sounds fancy. But the firmware is closed-source, it supports altcoins, and the brand is virtually unknown in Western markets. The fingerprint is a convenience feature, not a security improvement. Your PIN is what matters.
Multi-Coin Warning
Every altcoin this wallet supports is code that could compromise your bitcoin keys. More tokens means more attack surface. The firmware is bloated with logic for assets that most users don't need.

The Verdict
The D'CENT Biometric has decent hardware. That part isn't the problem.
It has biometric and bluetooth. Some people will like that.
Not Recommended
I can't recommend this for serious bitcoin storage. The multi-coin firmware introduces unnecessary risk. For $159 or less, you can get a focused Bitcoin-only wallet that does the job better.
Bitcoin-only, dummy.
